Joshua Forbus
Summary
Josh is entering his 26th year installing gutters. He is the father of 4 daughters and is married to Tina, a retired middle school principal. Josh and Tina relocated to Evans, Georgia in 2016 to be near their oldest daughter, a medical student, and their new grandson. Gutter Concepts was started shortly after they moved, and Josh continues to carry on the fundamentals of gutter work taught to him by his father, Buddy Forbus.
Early Life
Josh was born and raised in LaGrange, Georgia. Upon graduating high school, Josh joined the United States Marine Corps. While in the Corps, he was stationed in Washington D.C. and was a member of the prestigious Silent Drill Platoon. The Silent Drill Platoon traveled weekly and performed at locations across the United States including Camp David, The White House, Arlington Cemetery, and the Pentagon. He was transferred to Echo 2/7 located in Twenty Nine Palms, California where he finished out his career as an active duty Marine.
Career
After being Honorably Discharged from the Marine Corps, he returned to LaGrange, and began his career in the gutter business. Josh worked with his father, the legendary Buddy Forbus, owner of Forbus Gutter Service. Josh quickly excelled in gutter work and became crew leader for Forbus Gutter Service. Buddy and Josh built Forbus Gutter Service into the "household " name in the West Central Georgia/East Alabama area and have been in business since 1986.
